Model: The frame and the truck frames are constructed of metal. The superstructure is constructed mostly of metal. The locomotive has an mfx digital decoder, controlled high-efficiency propulsion, and extensive sound functions. It can be operated with AC power, DC power, Märklin Digital, and DCC. The locomotive has a powerful, centrally mounted motor and drives all of the axles in both trucks by means of cardan shafts. The white headlights and red marker lights are LEDs. They will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. White LED lights are on in the engineer's cab at the front of the locomotive, depending on the direction of travel.
